What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled by 3:00 PM 48 hours before arrival to avoid a charge of one night's room and tax fees.

For reservations made through third-party sellers such as Expedia and Booking.com, please get in touch with your respective provider directly for details regarding their policies.

What time is check-in and check-out at The Valorian Hotel?

Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 12:00 PM. Early check-in is by request only and not guaranteed. A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax, an additional $200 USD per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges. Late check-out may be requested through the front desk and is often at an additional charge if available. Guests must be at least 21 years old to check into the hotel, minors are permitted to check-in with a written or electronic form from a parent, guardian or responsible adult assuming liability for charges, obligations, injuries and/or damages relating to the minor’s stay.

What are the parking options?

Valet parking will be available for $75 per night. Valet parking with EV Charging is $85 per night. 

The hotel is located on Sunset Blvd, roughly 0.1 mile east of La Cienega Blvd. You will find the entrance to the drive located just before the historical Monument Doors.

Does The Valorian Hotel allow pets?

Pets are welcomed guests at The Valorian. A waiver must be signed upon arrival, and a $125 non-refundable deposit is required. No pets are allowed in any areas serving food and beverage or by the pool. Pets may not be left unattended in the guest rooms.

Does The Valorian require a deposit & guarantee?

A credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the room. Specials, packages, and prepaid reservations may require an actual deposit depending on the time of booking and will be stated during the booking process. Direct billing accounts must be requested and set up through the Property Accounting Office for approval. Please note: A valid credit card is required at check-in. In addition to room and tax an additional $200 USD per night will be held on your credit card to guarantee any incidental charges.

How do I redeem prepaid bookings & gift certificates?

Gift certificates are available through the hotels individually. Prepaid bookings require a credit card authorization form to be completed and faxed to the hotel. This form is available by calling the hotel directly. Such submissions are subject to our Privacy Policy.

Can I ship something to The Valorian Hotel?

Package handling charges apply to all incoming and outgoing letters and packages.

Over 150 lbs, round up to the nearest 100 lbs and calculate at $56.00 per 100 lbs. Example 151=200 lbs and the handling charge is $112.00. Pallet delivery is subject to a $75.00 pallet service fee. FedEx, UPS, USPS deadline for all outgoing shipments is 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM Saturday.

*Due to limited storage space, shipments may NOT arrive any earlier than three (3) days before arrival.

**Stored packages must be picked up within 48 hours and are subject to a $15.00 per day storage fee.

Does The Valorian Hotel have smoking rooms?

The Valorian is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted in front of the building, as per LA code, 20 feet away from any entrance. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside. There is a $800 fine for violation of the smoking policy.

What are the taxes & assessments?

Rates are subject to Occupancy tax 12.5%, CA Assessment fee .195%, West Hollywood Assessment Fee 3% and Worker Protection Ordinance Fee of $11.09 per night.

What if I am a tax-exempt guest?

All Tax-Exempt Guests must bring an Individual Tax-Exempt form from their organization and present it upon checking in.

Water Management

  • Optimization of filter backwash to reduce energy and water use.
  • Low-flow aerators are placed in all guest room showers, toilets and wet bars, and also placed in restaurant kitchen sinks.
  • Housekeeping practices “Green Days” on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; linen is not changed in the guest rooms unless it is requested by the guest. Otherwise, linens are changed every three days.

Recycling Program

  • We are committed to removing all single-use plastics from the hotel.
  • All glass, plastic, paper (including newspaper and cardboard) and aluminum are recycled from all outlets, offices and guest rooms.
  • Printed recycled cards are placed in all rooms informing guests that towels hung back on racks will not be replaced, and newspapers and magazines placed next to the waste bin will be recycled.
  • Toilet paper and paper towels are made of recycled paper.
  • All batteries from guestroom remotes and other electronics are recycled.
  • All e-waste is recycled.

Community

  • The Valorian hosts various events in support of animal shelters and at-risk youths.
  • For the enjoyment of the guests and to support local artists, art exhibits are featured throughout the year in the Magic Box, located in the lobby.
